"Is HYPNOS a medical device ?"
Some health care professionals are using the mask (surgeons, dentists, physical therapists, …) and currently, a study is in progress in order to become a medical device.
"Is the mask available for children and seniors ? "
We offer hypnosis sessions appropriate for everybody, children, teenagers, adults and seniors. HYPNOS can easily find a place in the family. Just to know, hypnosis sessions appropriate for children can be found in the “Stories“ section on your app. These sessions are designed for young children.

"Why are you using multicolor lights ? "
Lights have several functions. First of all, they give information : Lights are blue to inform you that your mask is ON. They become purple to inform you that your mask is connected to the application. Then, they turn red to guide you through a breathing exercice … But, we also use multicolor lights in order to guide you through your imagination. Blue color helps you to remain alert and increase reaction time. You can find this color on motivation sessions, or wellbeing sessions. We choose each color in order to increase some sensations.
"Why did you choose red color for Cardiac Coherence ? "
We choose red lights for all the exercises about Cardiac Coherence because red is one of the only color that doesn’t disrupt the secretion of melatonin and other hormones for sleep. That’s why we choose this color for Cardiac Coherence but also for all the sessions about rest and relaxation.
"Is my mask always connected ? "
You can use your HYPNOS mask disconnected if you want to do a “nap“ or if you want to sleep with the “Sleep“ mode. Nevertheless, when you are listening to an hypnotic session, you need to be connected with your Bluetooth, so we advice you to activate the “airplane mode“ if you don’t want to be disturbed, but also if you want to limit the electromagnetic waves. Only the Bluetooth need to stay activate in order to synchronize the mask with the application. Your HYPNOS mask is using Bluetooth 4.0, one of the lower for electromagnetic waves. Emissions of electromagnetic waves are lower than your smarpthone’s.
"What is the HYPNOS autonomy ? "
The autonomy can change in function of your use. If you use the mask everyday (from 2 to 3 sessions per day, and a nap), you will need to recharge your mask every week if necessary. For the “Sleep Mode“ the mask has an autonomy of 14 hours, then you will need to recharge it.

"Do I need to keep my eyes open to see the lights on the mask ? "
Your HYPNOS mask is always used with you eyes closes. The lights create a luminance effect that is visible through your eyelids.
"Puis-je utiliser le masque pour dormir?"
C’est l’une des deux grandes fonctions du masque HYPNOS: Rééduquer votre sommeil. Il a été étudié pour votre confort (choix des matériaux, ergonomie,…). En quelques nuits, il vous permet de reprendre confiance en vos propres capacités naturelles d’endormissement. Vous bénéficiez alors d’une aide à l’endormissement (BeSync) où vous synchronisez votre respiration sur les stimuli du masque, un réveil à simulateur d’aube qui vous réveille doucement en lumière.
De manière autonome (déconnecté), le masque permet également d’effectuer des siestes de 10, 20 ou 30 minutes.
"Est-ce que je dois garder le masque pour dormir?"
"Do I need to put earphones on ? "
It depends on your use. If you want to listen the hypnotic programs, and be absorbed by the narrative, we advice you to put earphones on. Indeed, the immersion will be complete thanks to the 3 dimensions sound.
Nevertheless, if you want to use the mask for a “nap“ or if you want to do the “Sleep“ mode, you just need to have the mask on your closed eyes.
"What is the perfect posture if I want to use the mask ? "
For the “hypnosis“ part, you can choose your perfect posture. Try to find the most comfortable posture for you. However, in some sessions, we will guide you and tell you the posture to adopt. If you want to use the mask for sleep. You can keep your habits.
If you prefer to sleep on your stomach, or on your side or even on your back, you can do it with your mask. Indeed, the mask has been created to satisfy all the sleepers.
"Can I use the app and sessions without the Hypnos mask ?"
You need to have a mask to be able to use all the sessions. When you begin playing a session, your app prompts you to connect a mask. However, you can use the mask without the application if you want to do a “nap“ (with Nap Mode) or if you want to do “Sleep“ mode.
With “Nap Mode“, you can program length of your nap, drop off with the help of a sleep aid, and wake up to a dawn-simulator alarm.
With “Sleep Mode“, you are going to reorder your sleep pattern by learning to fall asleep with a breathing guide and be awakened by the built-in dawn simulator.
"How can I transport my mask ? "
You mask is delivered with a carry case. You can take your mask everywhere with you, and its wieght is only 49g…
"How many sessions are you going to add to the application ? "
For now, you can enjoy 33 sessions of hypnosis on your application and all the programs are free to use ! You can improve your sleep, handle your daily stress, reduce pain … But good news, the library of hypnotics programs is going to change and to progress with new programs.
