Zen mastery
13 minutesFor thousands of years, Zen breathing and the practice of zazen have been taught for their soothing virtues and simplicity of execution.
It's simply an awakening posture and breathing that releases great energy. By clarifying the mind, it notably encourages the development of intuition.
"Zazen" is the posture in which Buddha attained satori, enlightenment.
The Zen state of mind comes naturally from the attention paid to posture and breathing, and allows cerebral circulation to improve. This session allows the cortex (seat of conscious thought) to rest, while a better irrigation of the deep layers of the brain is activated, bringing a sense of serenity, and well-being, triggering, in full wakefulness, the brain waves of deep sleep "alpha" and "theta".
IMPORTANT:
Posture and breathing being very important elements of this session, I therefore invite you to choose from the following 3 positions the one that suits you best. Failing that, opt for an upright chair.
Lotus
Legs crossed, left foot on right thigh and vice versa.
Half Lotus
Legs crossed, right foot against perineum, left foot above calf, or even right thigh.
Cross-legged
Legs crossed, feet on the ground.
